For us, our trip will start on a Saturday in late October.  We'll start from different places - some from Las Vegas, some from Topinabee (MI), some from Bath (MI), some from Yardley (PA) and still others Willingboro (NJ), but all ending up at JFK in New York City.  Our tour begins in Casablanca, but you can see that below.

Depart the USA to Morocco.  We're converging in New York for our non-stop flight to Casablanca.  We'll fly all night across the Atlantic Ocean.

We arrive and transfer to the hotel. Later this afternoon, we'll tour Casablanca. Our half day sightseeing includes the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche seaside, a short drive through the residential areas of Casablanca to the city center to visit the Mohamed V Square, the Habous quarter and to the Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral

This morning, we'll depart for Rabat, capital of Morocco, view the Royal Palace and the ancient ruins of Chellah, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the Hassan Tower. We'll travel through Meknčs, stop to see the most exquisite entrance gate in the city walls, the Bab Mansour. Next, we'll visit the ancient ruins of the Roman City of Volubilis and the exteriors of the nearby Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss.

Full day tour of Fez, considered the world's best example of a living medieval city. We'll visit Fez Jdid (New Fez), planned by the Merinids in the 13th century to incorporate the Royal Palace and Gardens and administrative center of the city. We'll visit the Jewish quarter including a Jewish Cemetery. Later, we'll wander through the narrow alleys of countless souks (bazaars), tanneries, and remarkable Islamic architecture. Tonight, dinner is included at the hotel. However, we may choose instead to enjoy an optional Moroccan dinner in the Medina, including entertainment.

Today, we have a day long journey from Fez to Marrakesh. We'll travel through Beni Mellal and experience the ever-changing landscape of the Moroccan valleys and Atlas Mountains.

Today, we'll join a full day tour of exotic Marrakesh. We'll view the towering Koutoubia Minaret, then visit the Jewish Quarter, Dar Si Said Museum, Menara Gardens, and Saadian Tombs. Continue to Jemaa El Fna Square in the Medina district, where street performers, storytellers, snake charmers, and magicians perform and entertain. Tonight, dinner is included at your hotel. However, we may choose instead to enjoy an optional dinner in Jemaa El Fna Square, where we will dine on traditional Moroccan fare while watching one of the dance performances that the square is famed for.  Then again, maybe we won't.

We'll take a half day tour to Ourika Valley, traveling through one of the most beautiful valleys in the High Atlas mountains. On the way, we'll see tiny villages scattered along the hillsides and the Ourika River and view the ruins of an ancient synagogue. Then we'll visit a weekly market in one of the small villages. Tonight, we'll enjoy a farewell dinner.

We'll transfer to the airport for our departure flight to JFK.  Tonight we'll sleep in Yardley PA at the Hampton Inn and drink LOTS of Diet Coke with ice.
