Grandma,

When I met Stephanie, I quickly discovered she was unlike anyone I had ever met. She loved the Lord, was confident, thoughtful, hardworking, fun, yet uncompromising in her walk with Christ, encouraging and appreciative of others. Her faith was strong. Her convictions were and continue to be firm and unwavering, but not legalistic or judgmental. She was the friend I had been longing to find.

Next I met Brandon. I had a picture of what I wanted in a husband. Brandon surpassed all of my expectations. I didn’t think such an amazing man existed!

Then came the introductions to Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Philip. Once again, I was in awe and continue to be. Their immense love for God, their children, and for others was so clearly visible. The wisdom in their parenting was one I knew I wanted to learn from and model after.

When I met you, Grandma, it quickly became apparent that you were extraordinary. Because of you and your love for God and your faithfulness to Him and His Word, I have been blessed with Grandparents beyond comparison in you and Grandpa, parents without equal, a husband unmatched by any other, and an unbeatable friend in Stephanie.

Thank you for living a life pleasing to the Lord. You have demonstrated a faith that is strong and unwavering. Thank you for loving me as your own, encouraging me, and setting a perfect example to follow and strive after.

I love you.

Love,

Rachel
