Grandma,

When I consider the ways in which God has blessed me through you I am overwhelmed. My thankfulness for Phyllis Elaine Blair begins with her love and devotion to one Andrew Richard Bos – taking his name and his hand in life, honoring him, caring for him and supporting him in all of life’s pleasure and pain. My gratefulness continues in your sacrificial care and instruction of your second-born child, Ms. Susan Diane Bos – bringing her up in the knowledge of the Lord, loving her unconditionally, modeling your love for God and His people and somehow allowing her to date and marry a hitch-hiking college kid whose bushy beard and long hair closely resembled Jeremiah Johnson. My appreciation for you has increased in the way you have loved and supported your favorite grandchild - I won’t name names here as I’m not sure if others know. I have been surrounded with the knowledge and comfort of your love my entire life – what a blessing. In your third generation of descendents you have remained faithful in love, support and modeling of a life devoted to Christ.

I am thankful to God for your example of a life built on solid ground.

I love you, Grandma!

Brandon
