So difficult to decide which memories to include in one page when there are
35 years to choose from, so I decided to make a list… but to start off the most
important one is not a single time. It’s my memory of a lifetime of love,
patience, unconditional acceptance, and heartfelt generosity. The example
provided through a God-centered life and countless offerings of advice, never
judgmental, but strong in its “rightness”. Thank you.
- Games and popcorn at Grandma and Grandpa Blair’s after night church.
- Sitting around the fire in the farmhouse watching Cosby, Wheel of
Fortune, and Jeopardy playing cards.
- Hot cocoa and snacks after sledding and snowmobiling.
- Picking beans, corn, raspberries, and rhubarb.
- Arguing about whether Uncle Andy beat Grandma in “the Race”.
- Getting Mrs. Bell to let us off the bus at the “wrong stop”.
- Life-savers from G-ma during church; G-ma’s beautiful hymn-singing
voice.
- Mr. Steak… figuring the bill and tip.
- Tuck back.
- The lake.
- The farm.
I love you,
Craig
